This is the story of one of Washington County’s pioneer families. John Wilson was the first County Surveyor receiving his appointment in March 1829 after having been appointed to the Territorial Office of Magistrate for Prairie Township in June 1828. He married Elizabeth Friend, and this book relates the story of their descendants.
